BIE orgainises Nature’s Camp for Level 4 & Level 5 students

A Three Day Nature’s Camp was organised for Boys and Girls simultaneously for the BIE student of Level 4 & Level 5 at Dreamland Garden Resort Kudal-Maharashtra from 20th  -22nd October 2017.

Programme began with Tazkeer bil Quran on the topic Allah’s creation- Animal Kingdom. Speakers explained the special features of insects and animals mentioned in the Quran. Speaker also explained that even though animals lack the ability to think they always stay united, we as human beings should learn from this and be united with each other. Camp Incharge for Boys was Mr. Bashir Naik and for Girls was Mrs. Afsha Khan, Member of JIH Goa . Camp Incharge  in Inaugural words explained the importance of organising the camp amidst nature. The purpose of this camp is to experience the beauty of Allah’s creations and be thankful to the blessings he has bestowed upon us. There were various topics like Introduction of scriptures, extravagance in functions, Old age Home and Introduction to top 5 universities in the World on first day of the Camp.

Day 2 began with the Quran study circle of surah Baqarah 1st ruku,in which speakers explained the attributes of a true believer. Followed by a fitness session. Next session began with Tazkeer on Allah’s Creation- Universe and Solar System. Speaker explained the formation of universe and starts based on today’s scientific discoveries and also stated verses from the holy Quran about how Allah proved it 1400 years ago. There were various PowerPoint Presentation on the topic like Glamorous Distraction during teenage, Science and Religion – conflict or conciliation, Theory of Evolution, Mapping of Prophets, Future Economic Scenario, Being standard bearer of Truth and Madrasa. The day ended with a camp fire to explore the talents of the children.

Day 3 began with the Quran study circle. This was  Followed by a refreshing exercise.

 The second session started with Tazkeer on Allah’s creation (Human Body) in which speaker spoke about scientific miracles in the human body and how Allah mentions about them in the Quran. Later  case study was presented on the topics Rohingya, Bosnia, Chechnya, Xinjiang and Nirbhaya.  Speaker gave highlights of the case and verdicts of different people about the case. Regarding Nirbaya case study speaker pointed out the minor errors done by the boy and the girl which led them in this trouble. Speaker also advised the participants on choosing friends circle and about being away from strangers. The topic “Being the Extraordinary” in which speaker spoke about the falcon bird who never gets tired of flying high. Also said our lives should be like that of a falcon bird. Secondly we should have an Islamic concept of success i.e., real success comes only in the afterlife so we must struggle for the afterlife in this world.

Students enjoyed various facilities at the venue such as horse riding, boating, swings, pedicure etc

Concluding words stressed on the fact that we are Khalifah of Allah and we represent Islam in the society, we have a role in the coming days to reconstruct the society in the light of divine guidance. 117 students participated in the camp.

Allah ke Bande Vacation camp for Level 2 & Level 3 students

IMG_20170826_112617BIE GOA organised a 3 Day Residential  Camp for students of Level 2 and level 3 ( 8-11 years) of Islamiyat Weekend classes from 25th to 27th Aug 2017. The Camp was held at Al-Aman complex, Margao for both Boys and Girls. The theme of the camp was “Allah ke Bande”.
The program started with Quranic chapter “Surah Ma’un”,  in which Mrs.Tabassum explained the lessons we can get from this surah.
In the Inaugural address the purpose and the need for such camps were read out by camp Incharge, Salma Makandar. She said the camp will help the students get a feel of Islamic life and ettiquettes and was an opportunity for students to learn about their faith in a friendly environment. Later the students were divided into groups, each with a group leader acting as the team captain for the group.

Programme included Wudhu & Namaz practical session in which Mrs. Saleha Asif (Member of JIH) showed how to perform Wudhu and Namaz with the Power Point Presentation.

Each day after Asr salah, few Hadiths were memorized to the students. In the Magrib session, Stories from the Quran like Adam(A.S), Ibrahim(A.S) was explained by speakers. This was followed by the motivational videos.

Observation session was also included in the camp in which Masjid, House of wisdom and Jamiat us salihat was visited by the student along with their mentors. After observing these, there was an discussion among their groups. Later Group leaders presented their views regarding Masjid, House of wisdom and Jamiat us salihat.

The Camp designed with many cultural activities like elocution, Nasheed, Qirat, Quiz etc.
Prizes for the winners of competitions and games were given away along with the concluding address by Anees Mohammad, Secretary of BIE. In the feedback session children expressed their gratitude and were happy to be a part of this camp.
98 students across Goa participated in the camp.

PTA meet at Vasco unit

BIE Goa, Vasco unit organized a PTA programme on 20th August 2017 at Vasco.

The Programme began with the recitation of the Holy Qur’an by Level 3 Student, Shafaq Qazi. Later Introduction of Children’s Magazine had presented by Secretary Halqa, Mr. Asif Hussain. He explained the importance of children’s Magazine and why it is needed today. He asked parents to contribute by exploring their children’s talents. Mrs.Salma Makandar –Principal BIE- Vasco delivered the Inaugural Address. In her welcome address she explained it is the responsibility of the parents to focus on the development and personality of their children. She also explained the role of parents in the upbringing of a child and how the child learns from their parent. She also put across his views on how to upbring a child with right moral values. Later President of Women’s Wing Vasco, Mrs. Shaista Shah explained about the importance of Weekly deeds. She also focused that weekly deeds can make positive changes in their children with the co operation of parents.

In the concluding address, Mr. Abdul Wahab, Ameer-e-Muqami, Vasco, stressed on the importance of parent’s behaviour and character in moulding and grooming the child. The programme concluded with the dua and Mrs.Malika Shaikh (BIE teacher) compered the programme.

Teachers Orientation Programme organised by BIE

The one day workshop that was organized by the BIE brought together principals and teachers from all the BIE centres of Goa. The session began by the Tazkeer-bil-Quran by Maulana Mubeen, committee member of BIE followed by the Inaugural address by  Anees Mohammad, Secretary BIE. The guest speaker for the same was Dr. Kazim ( Phd, M.Phil.. MSc,  BEd..,  PG diploma Psychological counselling)  from Mumbai.
The one day workshop was broadly divided into two sessions , mainly focusing on innovative and effective methods of providing quality education. It’s objective was to orient the teachers to a general understanding of teaching and the different approaches and methodologies to be applied while teaching. To familiarize the teachers with a constructivist approach, which is often called teaching for understanding.
To be successful in this era, one must teach the child about global awareness and to adopt newer version of communication and technology

 The post lunch session was about multiple intelligence. He said every individual has 9 intelligences in varying amounts and we can improve education by addressing these intelligences of both, the student and the teacher.

 Towards the end , he gave us a questionnaire where in every participant can assess his or her multiple intelligence.
 Participants we’re later provided with a feedback form. The program was then brought to an end by concluding address by Chairman of BIE Abdul Wahid Khan , encouraging teachers to play a better role in the lives of every student for a better and a brighter future. About 60 teachers had participated in the workshop.

BIE Organizes 2 Day Summer camp at Savordem

Board of Islamic Education organised a 2- day summer camp for children of age 10-15 on 1&2 may 2017. The camp was held at K. M SHARIFF BUILDING Bansai Curchorem. The theme of the camp was ‘YOUNG LEADERS SUMMER CAMP’.
Programme began with darse quran on surah al asr by Ayesha Abdul Salam.She used a P. P. T and interacted with the students on the main theme of the chapter.
Inaugural address by Meenaz Bhanu, -camp in charge emphasised using time and energy in right course during vacations and how this camp will be helpful in gaining knowledge of this world and hereafter and help to learn about Islam, its etiquette in simple and friendly manner. There were many children and the morning session started with a group discussion on the topic ‘MY DEAR ISLAM’and’ LEARNING TO LIVE TOGETHER’ Children were divided into groups and each group had sub topics and a group leader. There was pick and speak . Topics like namaz, Ramadan, zakath, hajj, fitra , sehri etc were given. later there were deliberation sessions in which videos on the topic of gadgets, education and honouring parents were screened. Mrs Zeba Tabrez impressed upon the children the negative impact of getting addicted to gadgets.. Tarana sessions were conducted by Mrs Meenaz Bhanu and the Children sang Islamic songs and poems..
On the second day more children joined the camp There was darse quran on surah Maaun with P. P. T and the speaker interacted with students. Then a short movie tittle ed ‘Boond Boond zindagi’ was screened. Parents were invited to the afternoon session.. A video of weekend islamiyath classes conducted by the BOARD OF ISLAMIC EDUCATION GOA was shown. A detailed video about the work and journey of B. I. E, it’s aim and objectives, it’s need and purpose, centres, teachers subjects etc.. B. I. E secretary Anees Muhammad spoke about the classes and appealed parents toenroll their children.
Prize distribution was held followed by feedback from both the children and parents.. They expressed happiness and gratitude.. There was book exhibition for the parents
By the grace of Allah {s.w. t } camp was a success and generated positive feedback.. It ended with the concluding by Jb Asif Hussain who asked the children to use their time effectively and gain complete knowledge of Islam along with academic excellence. He said that character building will help them face all the challenges.

BIE Centres declare annual results of islamiyaat Weekend Classes across goa

BIE CENTRES DECLARE ANNUAL RESULTS OF WEEKEND ISLAMIYAAT CLASES AT MULTIPLE LOCATIONS IN GOA

Islamiyat weekend classes conducted by Board of Islamic Education (BIE), GOA are aimed at nurturing & educating the young generation based on Islamic values & principles. BIE has around 9 centres across Goa, 600 students enrolled & 80+ teaching staff driving the project.

Arabic, Urdu, Islamiyat, Dua & Personality Development are the subjects taught during the academic year using the most advanced tools of teaching. The annual exam is conducted at each centre & the results declared amidst parents of the students each year

The result day for the academic year 2016-17 was held on 9th April 2017 simultaneously at different centre of Goa. Students, Parents, Guardians & prominent guests attend the result day, which apart from awarding students with the results, provides valuable inputs to parents on important topics with Islamic orientation.  “IDEAL PARENTING” & “ETHICAL USE OF GADGETS” were the topics during this year’s annual meet which were presented through PowerPoint presentations at different BIE centres of Goa

VASCO UNIT

In VASCO Centre of BIE around 21 parents & 25 students attended the program which began with the recitation of the Holy Quran. BIE principal of Vasco Mohtarma Salma Makandar delivered the Inaugural address in which she extended a warm welcome to the guests and also highlighted the BIE activities done during the year.

The presentation on “IDEAL PARENTS” was delivered by Mohtarma Shaista Shah, Unit President of womens wing JIH Vasco, while the PowerPoint presentation on “ ETHICAL USE OF GADGETS was given by Mohtarma Sana Mirza, Teacher BIE Vasco Unit.

Prizes & awards were distributed to the students by the guests and the Program concluded with the Presidential remarks by Janab Abdul Khuddus Sab, Unit President, JIH Vasco Unit

MARGAO UNIT

In MARGAO Centre of BIE around 29 parents & 15 students attended the program which began with the recitation of the Holy Quran. BIE principal of Margao Mohtarma Gulzar Parveen delivered the Inaugural address in which she extended a warm welcome to the guests and also highlighted the BIE activities done during the year.

The presentation on “IDEAL PARENTS” was delivered by Mohtarma Anjum ,Karkun JIH Womens Wing, Margoa , while the PowerPoint presentation on “ ETHICAL USE OF GADGETS was given by Mohtarma Anziya, Teacher BIE margao Unit.

Prizes & awards were distributed to the students by the guests and the Program concluded with the Presidential remarks by Mohtarma Farnaz Banu Saheba, Assistant Secretary, BIE, Goa

MAPUSA

In MAPUSA Centre of BIE around 30 parents & 55 students attended the program which began with the recitation of the Holy Quran. BIE principal of Mapusa unit Mohtarma Shagufta saheba delivered the Inaugural address in which she extended a warm welcome to the guests and also highlighted the BIE activities done during the year.

The presentation on “IDEAL PARENTS” was delivered by Mohtarma Fatima, Teacher BIE Mapusa unit, while the Powerpoint presentation on “ETHICAL USE OF GADGETS was given by Mohtarma Munira Saheba, Teacher BIE Mapusa Unit.

In PANJIM Centre of BIE around 35 parents & 15 students attended the program which began with the recitation of the Holy Quran. BIE principal of Panjim Mohtarma Shehnaaz Saheba delivered the Inaugural address in which she extended a warm welcome to the guests and also highlighted the BIE activities done during the year.

The presentation on “IDEAL PARENTS” was delivered by Mohtarma Tehnaz Zattu , while the Powerpoint presentation on “ ETHICAL USE OF GADGETS was given by Mohtarma Nadia Rehan, Teacher BIE Panjim Unit.
